... of creative writers dismantling cultural class boundaries in academia and publishing. We believe in creating open dialogues and inclusivity across first-gen and other impacted groups.

We envision an inclusive, non-hierarchical creative writing landscape that reflects a diversity of class cultures.

We do this by:

Creating a space where writers facing cultural class boundaries can share and normalize their class experiences. We especially welcome first-gen BIPOC writers to share their perspectives along with first-gen students, first-gen Americans who also identify as first-gen students, and non first-gen writers facing class boundaries in their practice or institution. This space includes the questionnaire and will grow to have free online workshops, conference panels, perhaps a journal folio, etc.
